This Horse Has Gone On The Same Solo Walk For 14 Years After His Owner Got Too Old To Ride
Most countries have at least some animals that wander the streets. In more rural areas the number is likely to increase, as is the diversity of the animals hanging out unsupervised. In city or suburban areas there's a good chance that there is a few stray cats pottering about by themselves. Those of us who live in rural areas may be less surprised by this news, but as a city-dweller, I am bamboozled.

This is the story of a horse who just casually goes for a walk everyday like a 20-something blonde woman who goes for a 15 minute walk in the morning and then has brunch while still wearing active-wear so people think she exercises. Except it's a HORSE.
This is Jenny the Arabian mare.
Jenny has been taking herself on walks around the streets of Frankfurt in Germany.
Jenny walks alone because her owner, Wener Weischedel (age 79) can no longer ride her. He opens the gate for her in the morning and off she goes!
Jenny does eight laps of her route, before returning home for lunch.
Her owner thinks she has a "clock in her stomach" because she knows exactly when there will be food waiting for her!
People who live locally love seeing Jenny out for her walk. While there are often concerns about safety, there hasn't been an incident in 14 years.
Jenny has made friends with many of the local people, including the tram driver.
Jenny and her owner.
The story was shared on Facebook recently; making Jenny famous outside of her hometown.
The post draws attention to the note on her halter.
"My name is Jenny. I didn't run away. I'm just walking. Thank you."
