Things Only Harry Potter Fans Who Loved The Books Will Understand
The Harry Potter books changed the lives of so many kids; in fact, it would not be remiss to say they changed the world. The magic of the books has been unparalleled, and children all over the world stayed awake reading all about the adventures of their heroes, Ron, Harry and Hermione.

While the movies were incredibly successful (financially, at least), there is no use trying to claim they do an adequate job of portraying the complexity of the books. While obviously it would be nearly impossible to translate the entirety of the books into a screenplay, there are some major omissions that book lovers will never get over. Always seemed weird to me that everyone laughed at Luna for believing in magical creatures when their entire world is based on magical creatures muggles don't believe in?

The movies misrepresented all the houses; other than Gryffindor.
The only character trait the movies allowed Slytherin students was being evil.
Whereas Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw just got completely left out.
